Description
The AVY16-ES100 EtherSound Card provides two ES100 In/Out ports, an RS232 connector, an ES100 third port, and a mini-YGDAI interface, enabling very-low-latency audio and data transmission with precise speaker directionality control in professional sound systems. Up to 64 audio input and 64 audio output channels can be transmitted to or from a Yamaha mixer or DME product, or any other EtherSound™-compatible device, using standard CAT5 cabling.
The AVY16-ES100 card supports full network and local control of all channel assignments, along with continuous network status monitoring, making it ideal for live professional audio applications. Through the RS232 port, external third-party equipment can be connected using virtual tunnelling, or linked to an EtherSound™-compliant application on a remote PC, ensuring flexible and reliable system integration.
In addition, a MIDI connection available through the mini-YGDAI interface enables control of the Yamaha device, again via a third party application located on a remote PC.
