SM52-EZ-WX 5.25″ Surface Loudspeaker

The SoundTube SM52-EZ-WX is an economical solution for integrators who need a surface-mount outdoor speaker option for music and paging applications.

The speaker incorporates a dedicated 5.25 inch polypropylene woofer and an offset 1 inch soft dome tweeter with waveguide to deliver superb intelligibility for background to foreground music and messaging (up to 100.0 dB max. SPL).

The SM-EZ-WX speakers are Weather Extreme with an IP65 rating, meaning the speakers are dust-tight and will withstand water jets aimed directly at them when installed with the included port plugs. With its 32 watt transformer and 6 position tap switch, the SM52-EZ offers 25.5 V, 70.7 V and 100 V operation with an 8 ohm bypass. Inputs are made via ceramic terminal strips, making these speakers suitable for European voice evacuation systems.

The Active Audio Ray-On 210 is a 2.1m high passive column loudspeaker that should be mounted vertically. Its acoustical performances are very close to DSP loudspeakers thanks to the DGRC design principle utilised in the design. With a nominal range of 35m, it offers a high quality sound for very large spaces in airports, train stations, houses of worship, shopping malls, amusement parks, etc.

The Ray-On® R210TC can be switched between a low impedance mode and a 70/100V mode.

The R210TC can be used indoor and outdoor and it is EN54-24 Type B compliant.
